creative celebrations customized just for you!

have a friend, small group, daughter, son, niece, nephew, or grand that you’d like to do something special with and for? know someone who might enjoy a more private, intimate setting to try out art?

private creative gatherings with me are small sessions (1-4 hour blocks) with a special someone or for special occasions: birthdays, celebrating a milestone, out-of-town guests, or simply for fun. i can customize the booking for you, with up to four people in my studio or i can come to you.

i generally work with ages 13 and up, and within the realm of my specialties in mixed media, acrylics, and art journaling. our time will focus on one project, feature lots of encouragement, and i’ll even take photos of our time together to share with friends or on social media. you’ll also leave with a lovely piece of art you’ll be proud to display, not to mention the special memories with your favorites.

private creativity encouragement sessions for women

a combination of art techniques + straight-up encouragement about creativity, identity, and heart-stuff

feeling a bit creatively stuck? need artistic inspiration? yearning to kick-start a fresh spiritual practice using simple art explorations? in need of some truthful, authentic encouragement in a peaceful space?

if you’d like some one-on-one sessions to help get you going creatively again, encourage and inspire you through trying something new and different, and/or unlock or unblock your creative juices to start that project you know you want to begin, a creativity encouragement session is for you! the beautiful thing is that unlike some of my group class settings, you’ll get me all to yourself (except for the twin kittehs milling about), and we’ll focus completely on you.

a natural-born encourager and (so i’m told) teacher, i love coaxing the best out of people. sometimes we simply get shut down from life’s batterings, busyness, and complexities. it’s good self-care to recognize when we need to pull away, invest in ourselves, and get some good, old-fashioned ‘fresh air’ pumped back into us so that we can relax into what we love (and sometimes who we love)!

we’ll briefly consult before your session so that i can tailor it to your needs. during our time together, there will be questions for you to journal and a creative exercise or two (depending on the length of your booking), followed by dialogue about your discoveries, and a customized ‘challenge opportunity’ that you’ll leave with…along with a lighter, upliftd, and inspired spirit.
