A Threshold Moment
There are seasons when life feels like a long hallway. You keep walking, you keep showing up, and you’re wondering if anything is really changing.
And then… without much fanfare or a dramatic announcement, you realize you’ve reached a door. Not fully open. Not fully closed. Just enough light spilling through to know: Something is shifting.
You Are Standing at the Edge of Something New
Recently I was preparing for the last SOUL Collective gathering, a wrap-up of the latest cohort where we traveled through the Book of Isaiah together with a fun art project. Each of the cohorts are about six months long, and we meet about every two weeks for a time of sharing, discussion, teaching, and prophetic activation around the material. So, as I was thinking and praying about what to share as we finished up, I began to sense a phrase to describe where we were as a collective:
This is a threshold moment.
Not a ‘finish line' or a neat, tied-up ‘conclusion.’ But rather, I envisioned an open door, and it felt like it was more of a crossing, a transition, a threshold each of us are standing and facing.
The kind that comes after a long stretch of quiet unfolding. A forming. The kind you don’t always notice while it’s happening, it’s been so unrushed. And I felt to encourage the women in our community with this:
Every question you’ve carried, every moment you wondered, “Is anything even happening?” Something was happening! Over these past six months, the Lord has been quietly, faithfully re-forming you, like clay that turns slowly in the Master’s ‘artist’ hands. Yes, something’s been happening.
🦋 He’s been strengthening your inner framework.
🦋 He’s been clearing out old narratives that could not come with you.
🦋 He’s been placing within you a deeper knowing of His voice, His rhythm, His creative nature.
And now, the Lord encourages you: “Arise, My Beloved. It’s time to shine. You are at a threshold moment, and I’m inviting you to come along with Me. Not when you feel ready. Not when all the things are perfectly resolved. But now – because My glory is already within you, and has already begun to rise.”
Notice – the invitation is not “someday.” It’s now.
“Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned…” — Isaiah 60:1
Why? Because His generous light is already within you and this is your season to ‘be radiant.’ You were never meant to just “get through” this season, you are being transformed through it and more than that? You’re being revealed as someone who restores.

You Are a Restorer of Beauty
Where there has been ash — you carry an instinct for beauty. Where there has been devastation — you are being given vision to rebuild. Where there has been silence — you’ve been entrusted with expression. And color. And movement. And voice. This isn’t accidental.
“To give them a beautiful bouquet in the place of ashes… they will rebuild what was long devastated.” — Isaiah 61:3–4
Your creativity is not just a hobby. Not just something “extra” you get to if there’s time. It is wondrously, mysteriously, beautifully restorative … especially to what has been “long devastated”! There are spaces in the world – and in people – that will only come alive again because you chose to create. Not perfectly. Not necessarily loudly. But faithfully.
A New Name Is Being Spoken Over You
Perhaps you have quietly carried labels that no longer belong to you: “Not enough” “Too late” “Too inconsistent” “Too hidden” “Forsaken” “Ordinary.” I believe the Lord wants to challenge you (and me) in this: “Are you REALLY Mrs. Not Enough? Mr. Too Inconsistent? Little Miss Ordinary? Ms. Too Late?”
Oh, but how we can wear those names like little badges of honor long after their expiration date! Can’t we?! (I know I’m not alone in this 😂). Even if we’ve not sewn on those badges, it’s really good to remember that names carry power. And even after we think we’ve shed them, some names linger longer than they should. Some are not even spoken aloud, simply perceived or felt. But I believe the Lord is saying that this is a season of renaming for you!
“You will no longer be called ‘Forsaken’… but you will be called ‘My Delight Is in Her.’” — Isaiah 62:4
What a beautiful invitation to release what no longer belongs to you. Because you are not behind, and you’re not overlooked. You are seen, formed with intention, and held with care. The Lord is renaming you “My Delight Is in Her.” You are not tossed aside, not misplaced. Rather, you are treasured!
The Beginning of “New”
If this season has felt like a long unfolding, there’s a reason. God doesn’t rush transformation, so if you walk out whatever process He has you in, however, He does prepare you to carry what comes next.

“Now I create new heavens and a new earth…” — Isaiah 65:17
As the SOUL Collective chapter closed, I wanted to share something: “Our time together was never meant to be a container – it was a catalyst. You are not leaving with just notes, new creations, fresh promises from Scripture, prophetic words, or ideas. You are leaving with so much more! You are “crossing over” with a deeper trust in the Father, a renewed relationship with your own creative voice, and a sharpened ability to discern Him.
And now the invitation is simple and sacred:
- Keep going.
- Keep creating.
- Keep connecting with your people.
- Keep partnering with Him!”
An Invitation if You’re Longing for Space to Walk This Out. PS: You don’t have to navigate it alone.
If something in you is stirring as you read this, or if you feel like you’re standing at your own threshold – just know you really don’t have to navigate it alone.
